Players connect. Always.
Relay is a global connection broker that handles NAT traversal, peer routing, and fallback relay paths so players reach your servers regardless of ISP, firewall, or geography.
Automatic NAT traversal
Relay attempts STUN hole-punching first, falls back to TURN relay automatically. Players behind CGNAT and strict firewalls connect just like anyone else.
Global anycast routing
Connection requests are routed to the nearest Relay PoP via anycast. The path from player to server is always the shortest one available.
Sub-millisecond overhead
Relay adds less than 0.5ms of latency on top of raw network transit. For most players, the relay is invisible.
DDoS absorption
All traffic flows through Relay before reaching your game server. Volumetric attacks are absorbed and scrubbed at the edge, keeping your server IP private and protected.
Protocol agnostic
Relay works with UDP, TCP, WebSocket, and WebRTC. No changes to your existing networking stack required.
Encrypted transport
All relayed traffic is encrypted with DTLS or TLS depending on transport. Keys are rotated per session.
Multi-path failover
If a relay path degrades, traffic is seamlessly rerouted to an alternative PoP. Players experience no disconnect — only a brief ping spike at worst.
Real-time connection telemetry
Monitor connection quality, relay hops, packet loss, and jitter per player in real-time from your dashboard.
